Pack of Pit Bulls discovered abandoned in forest with no food rescued by dog lover who fostered and found them loving furever homes filled with food, rescuer says: ‘The puppies look relatively healthy, and they look to be about 5-6 weeks old.’

Another heartwarming and happy ending to a Pit Bull rescue that could have gone so wrong had the right person not gotten involved.

It is a sad truth but many Pit Bulls find themselves in less than desirable positions in life. Whether it be due to the perception of their nature or even difficulties with ownership due to local laws, these doggos are up against it in the hooman world. Which is such a shame as at the end of the day all they want is to be loved and cared for like any other doggo. The only difference being that these puppers have been bred to be scary looking by the very species of animal that has now grown to fear and dismiss them (us hoomans).

So you can imagine how happy it mades us to find such a doggo rescue story posted to Reddit's r/pitbulls subreddit that involved Pitties and has such a pawsitive ending to it. And so we are delighted to share with you this success story of doggo love, determination and adoption.

  • Honestly, it is a little sad that we have to say this at all, but thank goodness a Pitty owner was the one who stumbled upon these puppers. Otherwise it could have very much been a situation involving a less than kind shelter who would not fight for these puppers’ lives. But thankfully this is someone who understood that all doggo lives matter and that just because some doggos get a bad rep, that does not mean that they are actually like that. Leaving these puppies and adult pitties in safe and caring hands.

  • Honestly, we are impressed. It is not easy to admit that you are in too deep and reach out for help. It takes a whole lot of bravery and maturity to do so, something which these puppers’ original pawrents seemingly did not have. But this fostering rescuer most certainly does, and with the support of the online community, made sure that the doggos in their care would be treated as they deserved. A comforting thing to hear about in the wacky world of doggo rescues that can go so wrong so easily.
