A woman was planning a wedding with her fiancé, and they had promised each other that they wanted to keep costs down as they would be funding the day themselves. This was her partner's reasoning when he shot down her desire to buy a $1800 wedding dress, although she planned to buy it using her own savings.
Although she eventually agreed to stick to a budget of $1000 for the dress, she was upset when, shortly after, her fiancé came home with an expensive gaming PC. He reasoned that he would use the $7000 machine far more often than she would wear her dress, but she couldn't help but feel like this was unfair.

Am I wrong for being upset that my fiancé capped my wedding dress budget at $1,000 but spent $7,000 on a gaming PC?
