Found with a limp under a firewood rack at a closed down factory. I'm keeping her.

I work in a plastic recycling facility that is shutting down. There were always factory cats that hunted the rodents

She tried her best to be very scary and to scare me away. She didn't bite or scratch. I think she

She is very happy to be adopted. Purred the whole way home. No anxious, aggressive, or scared behavior

observed. She has been sleeping and eating a lot. I have a Wi-Fi camera on her crate so I can keep an eye on her while I'm at work.

One_Restaurant9631 Poor little dust ball looks like she might have learned forbidden knowledge from an owl or perhaps a family of spiders.

BMFresearch OP Yeah it was a big scary world out there. I honestly think she's in a bit of shock. She seems very very happy in her little apartment I made her. Not stir crazy at all.

succulescence She's probably going to sleep and sleep and sleep knowing she is safe. ☐

BMFresearch OP Oh she has been sleeping a lot. I've been checking up on her every 20 minutes with my Wi-Fi camera I set up. She's a big fan of the kitten wet food as well.

OmnomVeggies What a majestic cat you have there. What is her name?

BMFresearch OP I'm really apprehensive to name her until I get her checked out...

OmnomVeggies That is fair, it is a good opportunity to feel out her personality a little more too. I have a cat at my house named Grey Cat because I was determined not to get attached so I was NOT going to be giving him a name. I tried to rename him when I started paying vet bills and he started sleeping inside, but it never really stuck.

thugsapuggin That's a fair call. Also, when everything comes back clear after the vet check up, you'll have had time to really figure out what suits her. Sometimes the names choose themselves lol.

I know this sounds crazy, but I was once living in a (rental) house with an unfinished basement that had a gaping hole in one of the walls.

We one day heard a bunch of mewing from the basement and found TWO kittens in it?!? We fostered them until we could find something more permanent bc we already had two cats and a dog.

It was a few days before we knew what to call them, and we ended up calling them Rusty and Crusty. Long story short, congratulations on your new baby!
