PaperArrow Mine are indoor cats (both 9mos) and this is what I do: All windows closed except at night to let cooler air in. Pretty much started that the past weekend. Blinds/curtains drawn all day to keep heat out. Cool mats out and fans on 24/7.

Ouroboros8 Chill or freeze lick-e-lix or tuna water. Place a towel in the freezer and place it over them. If you can't open windows try flat cats, it's a mesh that can be applied to a window to let air in and keep cats safe inside. Good luck.

becpuss They are fine in the heat just make sure they have access to water you can offer cooling mats but none of my 5 are bothered by the heat so never used them they find a cool spot in the house and sleep the entire day there are many cats living outside in hot climates coping fine they don't require anything but access to water best you can do is close all your curtains so the house is as cool as it can be.

amora obscura Top 1% Commenter You can buy a cooling mat (but a tile floor often works too). You could get a baking tray and fill it with water - that provides water and an opportunity to cool their paws. Some cats like ice cubes.

Altruistic-Bat-9070 we have a portable AC unit and last night our cat decided to curl itself next to the boiling hot outlet pipe so I have decided they don't need cooling down.

Impossible_Elk_5303 I don't have aircon too so my cats are sharing a meaco fan now until I can afford a portable aircon next year. My cats don't like the pet cooling mats so they just lay on the cold floor when it gets too warm indoors.

Slightly Mithed123 Mine is from Dubai so she deliberately seems to seek out the hottest room but she has finally decided that the fan is not her enemy and now complains if I move it.

Grape-Suika I have these adjustable child locks on my windows so they can he open but not enough to escape. I'm also taking the hit and having my fan on throughout the day for my boy. If you have hard floor too, this is better than carpets. If you have carpets I've seen people get paving stones for their cats

ximina3 Putting licky-lix in the fridge, or even freezing it (I freeze it in silicone ice cubes trays to make it easier to get out). Lots of water sources, and can put ice cubes in their bowls (not all cats like this or may need time to get used to it.) Some cats like ice cubes on their own (put them on a tray unless you want wet floors.)

twentyone_cats I feed more wet food to ensure they stay hydrated - add plenty of water to the food and mix it, then stick it in the fridge or freezer covered with cling until they're ready to use it. Mine will spend the week lying on their cool mats with their bellies in the air. I have air con which I put on in the evening and they love it.

missread4ever Mine go out and find their best shady spots, they also have access to a cool room, curtains closed, windows open. But having just spent a week in Montenegro where all the cats are thriving in the 35-40C heat I'm not too worried
