Worker spots a dangerously skinny cat among the facility's regulars, rushes to buy adoption supplies, and returns two hours later to find Simon right where he was, waiting for him: 'I was afraid if I didn't take him home, he would surely starve.'

Simon says: "I'm adopted now!"

If Simon says anything, it must be done. These are just the rules; we didn't make them, but we follow them closely. Especially if Simon is a cat - because cats are here for us to serve them and heed their every meow. It's a known thing that we're here to serve our feline overlords, and we do it gladly. That's why when Simon who says is a cat, it's double the reason to do whatever he says. And that was exactly the case of Simon, the cat of u/BeesUnlimited. In one day, he went from being a nameless stray, abandoned and skinny, to Simon the great, adopted and loved. If that's not a classic Simon, we don't know what is.

So Simon said, "Love me, human." And the human loved him, from the very first second they saw him. Then, Simon said, "Go and fetch all you need to raise me right." And the human heard, listened, and went to bring all the cat adoption supplies they needed to make sure everything was right. After that, Simon said, "Take me home with you, forever." And the human took Simon home, forever. The entire family loves Simon, including their five dogs, who were already there. Good job, Simon.

A lot of cats are abandoned in workplaces - people think that if they don't abandon their kitties in a residential neighborhood, people won't know. But here we are, people who know. And besides, abandoning a cat is a horrid deed, no matter where you do it - a yard, a factory, or the woods. Abandoning a little life that depends on you is plain evil. We're just happy to know that Simon was able to leave the stray life behind and get the love and affection he needed. Oh, and the food he needed, the poor guy.

Oh, gosh, this is a really skinny cat… Seeing him like that makes us feel Simon was actually lucky. Cats that are thin are usually the ones who can't find food outside, for any reason. The area might not be kind to cats, or they're just bad hunters and scavengers. In any case, that means they're doomed being like this. So at least now Simon gets to add these extra pounds he needs in his forever home.
