Striking Bathroom803 Why are we bringing non service dogs into stores
satellite 779 And putting them in carts where people place their groceries
Striking Bathroom803 Cute doggo but still irresponsible on your part
vintj Esp stores with fresh produce that some people may eat raw!!! The dogs not gonna di if you leave it alone for a trip to the store omg
peon2 Yeah it makes sense at like a Petco, and even some hardware stores like Lowes encourage people to bring dogs...but a grocery store where people are buying food? I love dogs and have two of my own but I don't need the little shedders throwing hair all over the produce lol
bbf_bbf some hardware stores like Lowes encourage people to bring dogs.. I know people who work at another big box hardware store, and no, they do not "encourage" people to bring their pets. The employees HATE to have to clean up the poopy/peepee "accidents" that these non- service animals have.
Also, having hard to see animals running around when fork lifts can be moving around is an extra worry they don't need in their day. (They'd like to ban kids for the same reason, but that would be illegal.)
Bushiest Beavor Cute but gross. Time and place for everything. My dog hates me when I don't take him to the grocery store, but he's learned to love me again.
OperationHappy791 it's pretty normal where I live. In many places you are allowed to have your dog in your cart as long as they are sitting on something. Which it is doing in this image
Striking Bathroom803 Despite the fact the dog is sitting on something, it's still super unsanitary and weird to have a dog in a store, unless it's a service dog specifically.
OperationHappy791 I mean for my store we are literally in the main walking and hangout hub of the town. Would be an inconvenience for everyone if people couldn't bring their pets in.
Porkie_Chop As someone who works at a grocery store I am SO HAPPY to see these comments. Keep your d…n animals at home. I have a dog. He's my world. But he doesn't need to go everywhere with me
Pyroman1483 Literally going through and upvoting all of them. I love dogs. I HATE seeing them in my store. Except for service animals of course.
smilehighsteve Dog is cute. Dog doesn't belong in a grocery store. And I love dogs.

FaithlessnessBig8724 Hey OP and everyone else who does this - keep your non-service dogs out of the store where we all buy our food.
WilliamG007 People really are the worst. It's like, "oh look at the cute puppy that I don't care shouldn't be in the grocery store despite the fact there's likely even a sign that says not to! Aren't I awesome?" Sigh.
Voodoo Doll Sorry but no. Please keep non service animal pets at home..
TenInchesOfSnow Yea no - leave your dog at home and not take it to the grocery store. It's not a service dog and rather unsanitary and selfish
Emotional-Buddy-2219 I love my dog but would never consider bringing him to the grocery store. Stop doing this
linjaes I would never think to bring my dog to the grocery store in case anyone has a severe allergy. It's also not the most hygienic.
AryaLily I love seeing dogs and never cared if I see dogs out and about, even in grocery stores. This was until literally 4 days ago, when I was in Foodlion and some
woman let her dog in the bread aisle. She didn't even have a bag or anything, so she made her 4/5 year old kid stand there and wait with the while she went and got a worker.
The 4/5 year old stepped in it, the mom picked him up and walked out the store with her dog under one arm and her kid under the other. The worker cleaned it.
