Peculiar friendship boundaries

This is by far the weirdest fight I've ever heard in a roommate situation, so much so that I started creating theories in my mind to determine why I don't think this friend is being truthful about her motives to keep her friend outside her workplace. Even if we give her the benefit of the doubt, all the problems she presents are solvable, so why not try that? I don't think she is in a position to discuss much, but let's see.
