Tiny Bat Named Cookie Gets Lost In the Sauce When He Dives Straight Into His Meal, Is Now Going Viral On TikTok

Whoever said bats aren't cute and put them into the spooky category is sorely mistaken. These cutie little creatures are so freaking adorable. Just look at Cookie! The evening bat from Bat World Sanctuary in Texas. This little hungry guy is the star of the sanctuary's TikTok right now and is going viral for his attempt at a "bed and breakfast.

The sanctuary saves injured bats or bats that others might try to exterminate like a vermin. Sometimes family of bats, technically known as a “cauldron of bats,” can take over a building that's been empty for a while. Or a smol little flying critter can get lost and separate from their cauldron and end up on someone's porch. Bat World saves these bats and either rehabilitates them and returns them to the wild or, for the ones who got too injured to be re-released, gives them a new home.

This isn't the first time bats from this sanctuary has gone viral on TikTok. Bat World is responsible for the “Bat Booty” trend. This happened when they posted a video asking if anyone had ever seen a bat booty before? If you haven't, you gotta treat yourself, because it's the cutest thing ever.

This time, Cookie is bringing in the likes with his dining diving session. The handler brings the cute little winged creature to a bowl of worms for him to eat. Whatever is going through is mind could be anything, but he crawls off the handler's hand and burrows himself into the bowl of worms. Sure, maybe for humans, diving into a pile of worms sounds like something from hell, but Cookie here makes it look heavenly. And did we mention adorable?

The content creator captioned that Cookie was attempting his own “bed and breakfast." No animal has ever made lying into a pile of worms look so comforting. Maybe it's these types of tendencies that give bats a “creepy” reputation, but in Cookies' case, it only makes him cuter.
