Growing up with a cat is a meowgical thing this little girl is going to experience, all thanks to her dad, who saved one kitten from a frightful fate on the streets.

I never grew up with a cat. Now that I'm an adult cat mom, I kind of wish I have. I always liked cats, even though I asked for a dog for my birthday from around age 5 until my preteen years. I was just a victim of the propaganda known as "cats don't really like anyone, they're super independent." But there was a street cat that a neighbor and I took care of, and she was the best. Her name was Kishta, and I loved giving her food and pets as a kid. But I never had a cat of my own growing up, and that's a shame - it might've made me realise how loving cats are earlier in life.

But this is not just about me - this is about kids everywhere, who deserve to experience growing up with the best, most loving companion ever. And this is exactly what u/BellDisastrous9390's daughter is going to experience, thanks to his keen eyes and big heart. He saw this one orange kitten, sickly and evading speeding cars that almost ran him over, and knew this was an unacceptable situation. He didn't just realise that this was no place for a kitten, but that he was going to do the best thing about it - he was going to add the little orange kitten to his family.

Thanks to this dad's big heart, a kitten is saved. But that's not all. Because you know what they say - the Cat Distribution System works in mysterious ways. They didn't just send a kitten to his forever home, but also made sure the girl is going to grow up with a cat - which is the best gift anyone could ever give a kid.
