Well-meaning person brings an “abandoned” baby bird to a wildlife rescue clinic, but the veterinary nurse knows better and returns him to the exact spot where his family is waiting

This guy was accidentally bird-napped (when a well meaning person sees a baby bird and takes it into a vet, not knowing its parents were nearby)
He was frantically calling out to his mum

So I took him out to see if we could find her

wildlife_hannah If you see a baby bird on the ground: pause! Before you take them, make sure there are no parents around. Baby birds need a couple of weeks on the ground as a fledgeling to train their flight muscles and practice flying 6 They might look alone- but their parents are very likely

Obviously watching closely from the trees and feeding them regularly though if they are sick, injured, or in an unsafe situation, near pets, or being attacked by other birds, take them to your local wildlife rescue or vet

_savannaos_ so is the whole thing about a mom rejecting her baby if a human has touched it a myth?

mari.nordhaug Let this video be a lesson to those who think touching wild animals will cause their parents to not take them back. You should never touch a wild animal unless you Absolutley have to for their survival, but as ya'll can see, they won't abandon their children due to a human touching them
