I wish I could do something similar with the salesperson who keeps calling me, but I have yet to find a solution. You see, 4 years ago I stupidly left my phone number to get information about LASIK treatments at a local business. I decided against it eventually, but this business keeps calling me to see if I am still interested.
I am talking about 10 calls a week for the last 4 years from these people, each time from a different phone number. No matter how many times I have told them I am no longer interested and asked them to remove my number from their lists, they keep calling. I have blocked hundreds of numbers, and they keep calling from new ones. I even threatened to sue them, but to no avail.
If only I could send them to a fake address and get them to wait for me, as this client did to the realtor, maybe they would have stopped calling me. But I don't think this will work. So I will continue to look for ideas to fight the salespeople, while you can share in the comments below what you thought of this clever story, and if you've ever experienced something similar!
