When Cyberpunk 2077 was released in 2020, gamers were let down to say the least. They really pumped the game up, only to release it with way too many bugs. But now the game is making a comeback with it's most recent Next Gen upgrade, Patch 1.5.

The new and improved Cyberpunk 2077 brings ray tracing, 4k resolution, faster loading, and more. You get a reworked perk tree, the AI and driving module has completely improved. Plus, there are larger crowds, more realistic traffic, more apartments to explore, new quests, guns, romance scene—hell, you even get to shower without your clothes on this time!

And to make the deal even sweeter, you can currently trial the new version for free for five hours before you decide to purchase it for both PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. Like, back in the day, when you had to go to the store to buy your game and you could test it out right there on some console locked to the wall. And even then once you finally decided to purchase the game, you'd usually get a free little demo of some other game. Well, that's back, baby—but this time you can enjoy the trial from the comforts of your home.

Gamers are really loving the reworked game. Many expressed high expectations for the first Cyberpunk 2077, but then were only let down. Now, gamers are saying they felt completely immersed in the stories and graphics.

“It’s much better,” one gamer on TikTok said. “I recently played it and wow it’s ambitious.”

The beginning of the Cyberpunk gaming world actually start in 1988 with Cyberpunk 2013. It grew and grew and now has a long history of main series, revised timelines, and even some non-canonical series. Though people are definitely reacting better to the upgrade, many gamers are still not satisfied. Many say the upgrade is just pointless and the game is just “dead.”

The release of Patch 1.5 is still very fresh, so only time will tell just how far these upgrades will go with gamers and Cyberpunk 2077 fans
