Lee Hammock, aka @mentalhealness, is diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and is on a personal journey of mental healing. He uses his viral TikTok as a platform to create a safe space for people curious about the disorder to have growing and helpful conversations on the topic and he also provides educational facts of NPD.

Recently, he posted a video on how the famous hip-hop artist Kanye West has been portraying NPD behaviors. He makes it very clear he is not diagnosing him with NPD, but that some of his actions of late are textbook NPD. The video is a thorough observation from a credible source and is even getting commenters who are doctors and psychologist providing their observation on the theory. The video hasn't even been up an entire day and already has almost 700k views

Narcissists Take On Kayne West:

“I'm not saying he's a narcissist," he says. "But his behavior is super erratic, super obsessive and you never know what people will do.”

In the video, Hammock explains that Kanye's reaction to his divorce and wife, Kim Kardashian, moving on is obsessive. He's using classic narcissistic tactics to make his victim, in this case Kim Kardashian, believe that life would be easier if she would just take him back. “This technique right here is used to exhaust people when dealing with narcissistic abuse, because it doesn't stop,” Hammock explains. “It gets worse and amplifies… And with Kanye West being such a public figure, he's going to have people on his side.”

Kanye is making the situation between him and Kim Kardashian very public, even posting screen shots of their text conversations. He "love-bombed" her this Valentine's Day by sending her a literal truck load of flowers, and is constantly putting Pete Davidson (Kim's new partner) publicly down. This behavior is textbook manipulation and constantly seen being done by someone with NPD.

Commenters are agreeing with this theory that Kanye might have NPD. One commenter said, “YES. it's triggering to watch I can only imagine how scared she really is. He knows people have already targeted her, he's using the public to hoover.” And another viewer added, “Omg Kanye 100000% has NPD! I feel like I really noticed it when he tried to hijack poor Taylor Swifts award a few years back.”

Though Hammock makes it clear that he is not making a diagnosis, it's just an observation of a person with NPD, TikTokers are still very much backing the theory.
