When books are turned into movies, there is always the age old debate on which version is better. Sometimes books are turned into movies and they are almost unrecognizable to the book fans. This sparks a heated debate with the franchise's fans every time. And yet, sometimes, the movie version on the book is actually spot on and even directly quotes lines from the actual book.

TikToker Melany aka @readingrapunzel is helping bring book and movie fans together. What she does is post videos pointing out movies that directly quote the book they're converting into film. Her viral videos have the scene playing in the background and has the actor says the line in question, she underlines exactly where it is in the actual book. And now, with books turning into full series, there is even more chances for script writers to truly capture the essence of the novel they're trying to create on the screen.

The Darkest Minds:

The Hunger Games:

Perks of Being a Wallflower:

These films all had a huge following way before they were even a glimmer in Hollywood's eye. So, it's only smart to directly quote the the book. When movies simply buy the rights and then ditch the words, they're throwing away an entire fanbase that is already created with that particular book. Even films with a cult following like Perks of Being a Wallflower only did as good as a film because of its already established book fans.

One of Us is Lying:

Shadow and Bone:

Peter Pan:

This TikToker really brings the magic for all the book fans back into the film or series and it's absolutely beautiful.
