Professional Cat Sitter in NYC Goes Viral for Sharing Her Day-to-Day Life Watching Kitties from the City

We all know dog sitters and dog walkers are a normal thing, especially in big bustling cities where many pet owners have to leave their furbabies alone for the day as the go off to work. But did you know there are also cat sitters? In NYC anything really is possible!

TikToker Paige aka @thenyccatsitter spends her days getting paid to hang out with other people's cats. It's hard to have any sort of pets in the Big Apple because apartments are tiny and don't tend to allow animals. However, cats sometimes are the exception. You'd think it's because they're pretty self-sufficient, but apparently some of these city dwelling New Yorker kitties need a visitor during their long days while their owners are out concurring the concrete jungle. 

American Dream

As a cat sitter Paige visits the homes of cat owners while they are away. She goes for many different reasons, like to feed them, change their litter box, provide medication if needed, play with them, and most importantly, to give them snuggles and help soothe their loneliness. Her visits can be 20 minutes, 45 minutes, or even over night. She does this full time and seems to be loving it. She even insinuates in one of her many viral videos that she'd like to expand her kitty sitting business to include employees, but she still needs to find the right people to make that dream come true.

Even though she has clearly proven herself as a great caretaker for cats, she actually doesn't have one of her own. Why? The age old NYC tale that many New Yorkers are familiar with—they don't allow animals in her building. For now, she gets her kitty fix in with her clients and becoming viral on TikTok for it.
