Pet Bird on TikTok Goes Viral for Beautifully Singing 'Ahh' for His Vet Check-Up

Birds are dinosaurs, which means they've had a lot of years to learn a thing or two. One thing some of them have got down is imitating human voices. You can hear a parrot saying hello or other birds where the owner trained them to talk. There have even been birds that were witnesses to a crime and were able to repeat what they saw. Pretty amazing stuff. But usually, a bird talking leans more towards the adorable side—especially, if you're a bird person. 

Shilo Veterinary Hospital, a mobile vet in Los Angeles & San Diego, recently posted on their TikTok of a cockatoo patient of theirs. The little guy is wrapped in a blanket getting a check up and the vet comes in to inspect his beak and the little guy more than happily cooperated—he sang her a little song. Of course, the sweet birb is now going viral on the app for his lovely performance. When asked to say ‘ahh’ for his checkup, he goes from a sweet little ahh (still an impressive reaction from a bird) then slowly makes his way to an opera-like “ahHhHhHhH!” and wow, it's a sight to see and hear. 

Sometimes it's not easy to train a bird to speak, and other times it just comes naturally to them. Sometimes you'll even rescue an abandoned house bird and to your surprise it already speaks. Shiloh Vet didn't post more info about this particular cockatoo patient of theres, but TikTokers are in love. The video is going viral and bringing up the day of any viewer who comes across it. It's truly a video that can be watched over and over again and stay satisfying and wholesome. A good one to save to watch on a rainy day when you're feeling the blues. Many commenters agree!

How hilarious would it be if you were at the doctors and they ask you to say ahh and instead of the usual boring ‘ahh’ you go into full opera singer mode.
