After all -all is fair in love and war. This brother-in-law was to learn this lesson the hard way when he decided to make an unwarranted comment about his sister-in-law's leg hair.
The thread was posted by the sister-in-law, Reddit user u/hortenhearsawho1, to Reddit's r/AmItheAsshole subreddit. Where she posted the thread titled “AITA for my response to my brother-in-law's comment about my leg hair” seeing to get the reader's opinions as to whether or not she was in the wrong for her retort.
Commenters were quick to come to her defense and noted that the brother-in-law shouldn't be making comments about other's appearances if he himself can't handle it.
Anyone who says leg hair "isn't supposed to be there" as a method of shaming women into complying with ridiculous beauty standards is always, always the AH.
NTA. I bet his mustache looks ridiculous.
I envisioned one of those tiny, needle-thin mustaches that look absolutely ridiculous on anyone.
edited for spelling error.
I just feel bad for his daughters who 1) will have to deal with his misogyny, and 2) will have to look at that mustache every day…
Damn if he’s so sensitive about his mustache he really shouldn’t be commenting on other people’s appearances. NTA
Something, something glass houses.
