But really, which one was the actual masterpiece though?
Since the age of digital media, art has taken a whole new form. There are tons of different way to digitally make art now and it's evolving every day. You don't just see ancient oil paintings hanging in museums any more. You see digital works of art that are just as titillating. TikToker @hayatininevreni is showing off his digital art technique and recently going viral for it.
What he posts on his TikTok is him taking digital samples of a famous old painting and creating a completely new one. One of his most recent has got him in the swamp, and we mean viral swamp. That's right, he took an old painting of an elderly woman from back in the day and somehow was able to use pieces from that piece of art to create an entirely new piece of art that ended up being the on and only Shrek.
The video showing how this TikToker digitally turned this antique painting into an epic painting of Shrek has gone viral. With over 11 million views and growing, it's bringing together fans from all over the app. We've got art history buffs enjoying the process, Shrek fans having a good laugh and wanting in on the fun, and, unfortunately, NFT nerd who can't believe this man isn't trying to make money of this epic viral Shrek.
Though this is the most viral this TikToker has become with his art, this isn't the first time he's shown off his talents a fun way. He has several videos of him digitally taking famous antique works of art and putting them in silly situations. For example, he took the head of Van Gogh, and added it into the meme of the man looking a the girl in the red dress and made the women the Mona Lisa and the Girl with the Pearl Earring.
He even was able to use multiple antique paintings to digitally turn them into the Spiderman pointing at each other meme. A classic! Many commenters are saying he's able to do this through the"magical flip" option on Photoshop. But the TikToker never actually explains how he does his technique, he just shares his art with the world.
