Usually, people aren't proud of their mugshots. It's a moment frozen in time of when you might have maybe made a bit of a poor choice. However, some people are proud of those moments. Maybe you were proud of why you broke the law. Protesting some injustices, stealing your dog back from your ex, punching a nazi, who knows! It that's the case, some people even get their mugshot framed. Or maybe you just liked your mugshot because the cops were somehow able to get your good side and you looked hot. No shame in that! There's even an entire viral Instagram account dedicated to posting hot mugshots called @mugshawtyss

Their most recent post featured a mugshot from a fashionable young woman who's sporting a killer shag haircut, perfect cat-eye wing makeup, and even a nameplate necklace that says “slayer.” The photos says the reason she was arrested was because she “drove her boyfriend's Porsche into his swimming pool.” The photo received a crazy amount of likes and comments before even being up for 24 hours.

The woman in the photo, Eva Evans, saw that she was featured on the infamous mugshot Instagram and was so excited. She posted about it on her TikTok to show her appreciation and explain to her new fans how to get this now-viral look.

“I discovered that I was featured on a famous Instagram account that posts photos of hot girl mugshots… I really appreciate all the support I was getting and the compliments to my style,” she says. Evan then runs down where you can purchase her same jewelry, who did her hair and what salon to go to for it, and even that her necklace says “slayer” because that's the name of her dog. “Now I have a confession,” she adds. “I'm very sorry to disappoint, but this is actually my passport photo… that said, I'm living for this narrative.” She also confesses in the comments of her confessional TikTok that her friend actually sent the photo to the Instagram account with the fake backstory. So, it wasn't just out of nowhere. Still a pretty funny prank. It also shows that the Instagram account doesn't really vet out its featured mugshots too well.

“I love to see women supporting women”

Her viewers are still excited for her feature on the infamous instagram. Evan's responds to one comment, “Honestly a longtime dream that I never thought I believed myself to be under qualified for.” And other viewers are still very impressed at how good a government photo turned out.
