"Hey homie, you don't hit a woman."
Brad Arnold, lead singer of the (hard rock? nu metal? alternative?) band 3 Doors Down, stopped a July 14 show in Bloomfield, Colorado to call a guy out for apparently roughly pushing a woman in order to get closer to the stage.
It turns out 3 Doors down have long been Good Guy Gregs. They began The Better Life Foundation almost 15 years ago as a way to provide funds for children in need.
From its website:
The mission of The Better Life Foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter and medical assistance, and to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs. The Better Life Foundation will work to raise money each year that will be distributed to organizations and hospitals that we believe will help us fulfill our mission so these children are offered a better life in which they can develop their potential, achieve their goals, and, become caring and responsible adults.
Just look at this:
So, good for them. If you can't spread good music through the world, you can spread money for children and respect for others.
Obligatory Burn.
