Praise Loaf: Cat Goes Viral for Starting a New Religion that Even a Professional Baseball Team Wants to Join

We've talked about this before: TikTok is a very strange place where weird and wonderful things happen. This time it's brought together millions of people because of a cat named Loaf. This cat may look like any ‘ole cat at first appearance, you’d never know that he is a Messiah. 

TikToker @thesourspro recently posted a video of his cat Enzo simply looking like a cute little chonk loaf relaxing on the floor. However, one person starts chanting “Loaf" over and over again with his hands going back and forth pointing at the cat. Then anther person joined; and then another. Until there were three men chanting “Loaf” over and over again, bent over pointing at Enzo and chanting. It was all very spiritual.

The video has gotten almost 9 million views already and tens of thousands of viewers commenting that they would like to join this religion. Even the professional baseball team the Detroit Tigers commented on the video saying, “Praise the Loaf.” Enzo might just be a lovable house cat to some, but to his new followers, he's a god.

Maybe Loafism is what the world needs right now? Maybe it's not just Enzo the cat that is the god of this religion, but any sweet animal that can make themselves into a loaf and steal the hearts of humans. Other cat owners who worship their sweet loaf are joining in on the religion and dueting the TikTok with them praising their own cat loaf.
