Deceased Puerto Rican Man Watches Over His Own Wake As Green Lantern
In brightest day, in darkest night, no evil shall escape the sight of the deceased Puerto Rican man, Renato Garcia. The 50-year-old who suffered terrible asthma, found this Green Lantern costume about a month ago and began wearing it around town. According to his sister, Renato acted like the truest member of the Green Lantern Corps:
He was always very helpful... You beckoned and he was always there."The practice of posing embalmed bodies at wakes and funerals has taken off recently in Puerto Rico, so Mr. Garcia's family chose this pose and costume to honor his life.
