Sam Simon, Co-Creator of the Simpsons, Has Passed Away

You've probably seen his name in the credits of the Simpsons, though he was only with the show for its first four seasons.  After making millions creating the Simpsons with Matt Groenig and James L Brooks, Simon all but retired in his thirties and spent his time fighting for animal rights and rescuing and training dogs.  

Simon passed away today after a long battle with colon cancer.  His fortune will be donated to animals in need, and his legacy will live on in our laughter.  Join us in remembering his work on the Simpsons.
