Mom Calls Out Pizzeria Manager For Shaming Her For Breastfeeding

A very angry mom, Olivia Cook, went on a bit of a Facebook rant about a pizzeria manager that told her to "cover up" while she was breastfeeding her 2-month-old. No mom wants to find herself in a tight spot, getting shamed, for doing something that's actually legal in all 50 states.

public breastfeeding - Text - happened to be feeding my two month old son uncovered. The so called "manager" stated that it was house policy that I cover myself, and the owner stated that I was selfish and only thinking about myself. I informed them, that what I was doing was legal, and they could contact the police to have us escorted from the building if that's what they so chose to do. It just so happens that today, of all days, I forgot a blanket, as I usually try to be very cognizant of tho

public breastfeeding - Text - establishment should be purely ashamed occurrence today. I am not one to ever make a fuss in real life, especially not social media. I am standing up for all parents, but especially breastfeeding mothers Parenting and tending to an infant is stressful enough as it is, without being discouraged by the public. People in the comments seemed to agree with this mom's stance.

public breastfeeding - Text - Deanna Weatherly I wish people saying cover up would cover their own faces when they eat. It's hot and uncomfortable to nurse a child all covered up. I generally do the 2 shirt method so there's nothing to see as my baby's head is covering everything. And if you don't like it, just don't freakin' look. Plain and simple. Feed on mamas 0 14

public breastfeeding - Text - Heather Meekins Olivia you really struck a nerve with some. Some, its just laughable. God forbid a strong women stands up for themselves and others. I'm grateful I have raised my children to know that nursing your baby is ok! No matter where you are. I'm also glad my daughter is comfortable to do so, regardless of others opinions. I'm also grateful my son understands and isn't one of those that must stare or point. Some adults could learn from pre teen son. I've see
