Sometimes, it is necessary for police to use tasers, peppersrpay or batons. If people are becoming violent, running away, or in danger of hurting others, it's up to the policeman to make a split second decision about whether to take a risk or use a taser gun. Of course, it's easier for the police to use a taser and have the person sumbit, but there's one tiny detail: it kills people.
Lets clarify: tasers don't kill everyone, but there's a chance that an individual could experience cardiac arrest after being zapped with 50,000 volts of electrical current for five seconds. And there's no way that the police are able to tell whether someone will be at risk from cardiac arrest. So what's the solution?
-
The Bolawrapis the solution. Rather than sending an electrical current into the person's body, the Bolawrap takes a page out of Spiderman's book and entangles them in a teather that, if aimed at their legs, prevents them from moving. It works at a range of 10 to 24 feet.
-
The Bolawrap is slightly larger than a mobile phone, and can fit into a pocket comfortably. But most importantly, it can be used to deescalate a situation without violence, and without the possibility of accidentally killing someone.
-
When activated, the tether is shot out at at 650 feet per second, wrapping one to three times around the person. There is little to no pain involved - and in comparison to having an electrical current run through your body, we assume it's a *lot* less painful.

The Bolawrap promises to potentially end the use of taser guns, and plus, policemen get to feel like Spiderman. It's a win win situation.
