The mighty hubris of another horrible customer comes crashing down. For whatever reason, some customers really hold onto that "customer is always right" approach even when they're told that that they're not actually talking to an employee.
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/IDontWorkHereLady subreddit by u/ComedianXMI, who shared his encounter with a Karen in a grocery store after he was done with his shift at work. The woman saw his name tag and assumed he worked there. After he politely corrected her, that's when things started to really fly off the handle. Like all Karens, she insisted that she was right and refused to take in the concept that this man was not, in fact, an employee at this store. Even after he played with her and doubled down on the truth that he didn't work there, Karen would not admit that she was wrong. As if there were no way she could be wrong. The entitlement of it all!
Irate customers mistake random people for employees all the time, and the results are wonderful. Keep scrolling below for the full story!
