So much for a competitive game last night. Wow. At least it was quiet around here. I wanted to root for OK in the late game but I didn't have much hope of them winning. Their defense just isn't good enough. Oh well. There will be some lopsided games in the pros today as well. At least we can watch them without worrying about what "our" players are doing.

Yep, all done. Chuck's other siblings stayed home this year, as far as I know. That's good about your Dad just heading for bed when he feels like it. That many people around probably gets to be a little much for him, I'd imagine. You must have done a very good job on Coco's eyes. Good for you! I know you were a little worried about that part. I heard something about that kid at Purdue but didn't really pay much attention. Of course, all they talked about in the newspaper today was Auburn, since this is SEC country. Chuck's looking forward to the Clemson/Notre Dame game this afternoon. He'll be grumpy if ND wins. As for me, I'll probably just read my book. I'll be able to tell how the game's going by how much cussing Chuck does. =)

I can imagine it truly was loud and chaotic, but fun too, I'm sure. How did your dad hold up? Did Teresa like the picture? We just got back from lunch with Dallas and her hubby. We went to Chili's and it was good. Very busy but the food and waiter were both above par. Christmas itself was quiet. We spent some time on the phone with various family members and that was nice. Auburn's beating the crap out of Purdue on TV. I was sorry the Dubs lost in overtime. Boo hiss. I think I'll stretch out on the couch, digest my lunch doze off for a while. =)

Those gift bags with tissue are great, aren't they? I still have wrapping paper so I do wrap some things, but when I run out it'll be bags full time for me. We won the battle for third, so that was nice. The team that beat us last week went on to win first place. So all in all, we were happy with what we got. Have a really good Christmas, pal!

I guess we're both going into the new year sans puppy. First time in 28 years for me.

Dave, I just heard that you had lost Becky. I don't know the particulars but it doesn't really matter; I am so, so, sorry. I had to put my beautiful Fancy down this summer and you know I lost Ruby while I was in the hospital. I understand the the huge empty space they leave when they're gone. I know this is late, I've been away for too long.

Aw, I wouldn't worry too much about your mom's reaction. She probably just blanked and never even thought about Coco. I see I added an 'a' to Coco's name. See? There's another blank. Teresa will know right away who it is and will love it. Have you wrapped all your prezzies yet? Well, except for Coco's picture, obviously. I think I read you've got 16 people getting together for Christmas? That should be non-stop fun!

That's awfully nice of you to offer, but I really was just kidding. Maybe if you're still game, we can revisit the idea next year. Right now with the holidays and all, plus the fact that you probably need a break after doing Cocoa, I'm sure you could use a break from drawing. My package to Sis finally arrived at her house after 6 days of touring Texas.

"Other parts of the country" - LOL Glad you're done with your shopping, too. And Coco's picture is finished! Yay! How did it turn out? Since you made it, you probably see little things that could have been done better, but I'm sure Teresa will absolutely love it. Maybe you could do one of Elf for me. Just kidding!

Too late for flags, I'm afraid. I sent my Christmas packages out last Saturday and everything made it except for my sis's. I looked at the tracking on it and it went from Little Rock to El Paso of all places, then to Austin. Supposedly it's now on it's way to her area. So much for priority 3-day shipping! I just hope it doesn't take another side trip somewhere else. On the other hand, she mailed her package to us on Monday and it got here yesterday. So there's hope!

McCaffrey was a good choice. Considering how bad Newton was, If McCaffrey had managed to get only THREE MORE MEASLY YARDS, we would have won. As it is, we lost. Our opponent ended up with 88.7 points and we had 88.5. Two-tenths of a point!! @#%$!! Ah well. We can still play for 3rd place next week. Still... it kinda sucks.

Rough weekend for FF. We'll need a killer score from McCaffrey tonight to have a chance. Niners beat the Seahawks - wow! That was impressive. I got my Christmas packages mailed Saturday. I'm glad that's done! No more rain here until Wednesday or Thursday. That's a good thing!

It's been raining since yesterday morning and I haven't even bothered to get on the computer. We're up to 7 and a half inches so far. It's like living in the Twilight Zone. At least it's not snow and ice. We had Tyreek Hill going in last night's game and our opponent had Mike Williams. Hill had a total of 4 fantasy points while Williams got almost 30, thanks to Keenan Allen getting injured. I think we're going to have a hard time winning this week. Ah well.

Ah, the MLB talks. Of course! Sometimes the NFL owners' talks get a little heated, which is fun. All those big egos. Shipping is rather a hassle, not to mention pretty expensive now a days, but I've been doing it for so many years it doesn't bother me much anymore. I just keep my fingers crossed that nothing gets broken or lost. Wally World today before the rain starts back up, and then I'm hunkering down for a few days/

I'll try to refrain from using foodie references from now on. The dentist went fine. Not quite sure what you mean by 'winter meetings' but empty calories are never a good thing. Got my Christmas shopping done. Now comes the annual search for boxes to mail everything in. I always save boxes but never seem to have the right size, either way too big or too small. Maybe I'll have better luck this year.

Yay Niners! =) It's 24 degrees out and I'm watching the birds on the balcony. They're all fluffed up from the cold weather and look like fat little butterballs. Dentist today for my semi-annual cleaning and then I've got to do some shopping. At least it should be sunny and mid-50s by then.

I didn't get a chance to get on here yesterday - football consumed the entire day. Fortunately we managed to pull out a victory, thanks in large part to Kittle and McCaffrey. Kittle is a stud - so glad we've got him on our team. Aw, your dad! Still at it, I see. A 7am call from ADT is no picnic but sure better than having him get out and roam around. It's good to see the Warriors getting back on track. A non-savory meal with mole sauce. LOL I doubt if anyone who knows me would fall for that. =)
