The mud slinging started here well before the election season too. I'm sorry this mess has spread to Canada as well. I will take your advice and turn to kittehs as often as I can.

I appreciate the gratz! American political ads have become so bad that much of the world knows about them. I live in one of the states that could decide the election, so we have even more of them than other states. I will be so glad when they finally end!

Mmmm...sounds great xD I remember one time I was at a restaurant when on vacation with family, and we ordered these 'goat cheese kisses' to try out, and they were disturbingly gross. I thought that they were covered in chocolate sauce, but nope, it was a disgusting hot sauce. And the cheese was coating in this oily pastry (and the cheese itself was awful.)

Sounds like you did some really fun stuff over the summer! I have been AWOL dealing with some really yucky, sad and sordid family stuff. But, hey!, I'm still standing! No hurricanes but we have a very huge forest fire just 10 miles south of Butte that has filled the valley with even more smoke than the fires in Idaho! I'm not even supposed to go outside cuz of my asthma but it's too hot to close the windows and patio door, so I might as well be outside! One of my kittehs has allergies and he is suffering also...poor baby. Hopefully it will start clearing out soon...I really don't want to go on oxygen!! Anyway. Gonna keep on keeping on and I dare anyone to stop me!! TTYS, lubznbonx, linder

I was going to try it, but then I became vegetarian. No trying caviar or escargot for me :(...? I don't know if a sad face is needed there...I might have just missed very bad food experiences xD

Thanks again. This cover was based on an album cover by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass called "Whipped Cream and other Delights" that had a beautiful girl sitting in ...Whipped Cream. I'm sure you can Google it so it really broke me up and that was the caption that came into my mind. That picture pushed me into puberty 2 years ahead of schedule! Thanks again!

Cheers, mate. We're up in the Rust Belt, so no worries. Pity the folks in New Orleans - again.

I am not real well versed in the parliamentary method of governing but I know if can definitely lead to a lot of splintering amongst groups, various cobbled together coalitions and abrupt changes in government if the Pm is forced to resign. But that might be better than being stuck with a President for 4 years :)

And it does not seem like much fires them up enough to make a visible stand - the FB generation - as u say - push like :) And it is so important for them to vote. I remember when the voting age was lowered to 18. Me and my frens were so thrilled to be able to vote. Now the biggest voting block are senior citizens, most of whom are conservative.

Thanks! After awhile we just become living fossils :) I'm sure Bryan and I seem ancient to our grandkids. Dearly love our grands but nice to be back home in our own nest. Like ur Woman LOL. We tend to become complacent at the strides we've made since the 60s but we must always be vigilant to make sure we keep those gains. It's the younger women who have never known anything else that need to be educated that any law can be rolled back.
