Fine Dining Restaurants Who Took Creativity Too Far

Food is meant to be enjoyed, whether it's expensive Michelin-star standard or fast-food from McDonald's. Of course, the more expensive the food, the higher the cooking quality, standard, and presentation but sometimes fine dining restaurants take it a little too far. These pictures show what some Michelin star restaurants are doing when it comes to serving their food, and they prove that imagination doesn't have limitations. They say presentation is everything, but I'm not sure how appetizing some of these dishes look, even if they are ridiculously expensive. What do you think?

Thailand's Plastic Bag Ban Forcing Shoppers To Get Hilariously Creative

Thailand started the year with a strict plastic bag ban, much to the chagrin of the cult of bag-savers 'round the South Asian country. Shoppers have yet to adopt the cute canvas totes that are popular in the United States and Canada. Instead, Thais are opting to get creative with their shopping vessels, using objects a large as a wheelbarrow and stuff as dainty (and crafty) as a clothespin hanger. We've put together some of our favorite unorthodox grocery transporters, but there's a huge Facebook album with loads more photos where these came from.
