Kids are true delights. Until they're not. You know the drill. Rationally, you know you love your kids unconditionally, but sometimes, just sometimes, they really know how to push your buttons to the max. It's in those moments you really question how deep your love really is for them. These funny parents of Twitter are the voices for all the parents out there who are being driven to the brink of their sanity by their offspring. And in case you missed last week\s funniest parenting tweets of the week, here they are.
Have kids they said. It will be fun they said. Or, as one parent accurately tweeted this week: "I hate when you want to be the best mother and wife ever but you also need to like eat, sleep and take the occasional shower." Yep, sounds about right!
Here are some of this week's funniest parenting tweets and here are last week's in case you missed them.
There are a few universal truths in this messed up world, and one of them feels especially true right now: parenting ain't easy. Between homeschooling and just worrying about the future of your children, things are tough. These parents on Twitter manage to add some levity to the world with anecdotes of their children's adorable misnomers. We hope they're never corrected.
For some reason, parents have a hard time apologizing. It's like they see it as a sign of weakness or something. Maybe it's that generation, or perhaps it's something you develop as soon as you have a child, but whatever the reason behind it, it's not the best trait to pass down to your kids. Everyone should be able to humble themselves and apologize when they know they're wrong, but a tweet saying "apologize like your parents, go" has proved just how hard parents find it to apologize — or more accurately, not apologize. Scroll down to see how similar your parents are to these peoples' or whether you're part of the lucky few who are blessed with emotionally healthy parents who can admit when they're wrong.
Moms and dads who spread the joy of parenting on twitter are my favorite people on earth.
They're exhausted, fed up and mostly, would appreciate a few more hours of sleep, please.
So shout out to those tired people who still make the effort of telling the world how parenting life is all about.
We have some more if you like.
Perusing Twitter is one of our favorite ways to waste time. The 280 character limit makes content both easy to digest and creative. Even better? Every mood is represented. There's the motivational and wholesome messages that hit right on hard days. And then there's the weird Twitter gems that make us laugh sometimes and scratch our heads other times. And then, of course, there's everything in between. We've put together a nice assortment of all of the above so you don't have to comb through garbage to get the good stuff. Enjoy!
Parenting is both challenging and rewarding—and sometimes very, very funny.
Take these tweets from moms and dads, for example.
While reading them, some of you may cry, laugh but most of all, feel like they were written about you.

Here are some more parenting tweets from last week in case you have missed it.
Parenting is hard at the best of times, but during lockdown, getting some alone time is nearly impossible. Yes, we all love our kids, but being around them 24/7 is sometimes a little. Too. Much. And by that, we mean a total nightmare! These parents have a thing or two to say about it and have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations about never having a minute of peace and quiet to themselves. The funny parents of Twitter are at it again...
Tiny terrors. Maniacal minions. Kids, while sometimes a total blessing, give us all a run for our money and make insane asylums seem like a sexy vacation. At their worst, their meltdowns can bring us to tears. At their best, they melt our hearts. If we're lucky, they make us laugh with their histrionic tendencies, creative threats, and inventive spelling. This gallery of snot-nosed gold includes all of the above - and might help you laugh away the pain of being a parent.
