It turns out that Chinese President Xi Xinping really hates being compared to a cute little children's cartoon.
The mockery began all the way back in the summer of 2017 and has escalated to the point that the president decided to ban all caricatures of Winnie the Pooh in China because he hates the comparison that much.
This of course has only escalated the meme-age and criticism of the Chinese government's censorship tendency.
Ironic, isn't it?
Sundays are weird. On one hand, you want to make the most of your last day of weekend freedom. On the other hand, you don't want to exert yourself so much that Mondaysucks more than it inevitably will. The key to making the most of "the lord's day" is doing something that makes you happy but requires little to no energy. Memes are a great way to toe that line between fun and laziness, and we're serving up an extra large batch of them bad boys for your viewing pleasure.
We love it when memers create dank memes out of our favorite beloved childhood characters. This particular one, also known as "A Fellow Man Of Culture," features Winnie the Pooh in a tuxedo for all those times you've felt really great about yourself for something that was actually totally mundane. But pat yourself on the back, give yourself a participation medal and a cookie, you've earned in. Now get back to work no one is special, especially you. Or continue your meandering mundane existence the choice is entirely yours. But either way, get ready for All Hallows Eve early with these spooky memes perfect to get you in the swing of things for witches and ghouls.
