In a move that could not possibly make more sense, the job of adapting Jason's Eisner-winning graphic novel I Killed Adolf Hitler for the big screen has been awarded to Timo Vuorensola, director of Nazis-on-the-Moon flick Iron Sky.
I Killed Adolf Hitler takes place in a world where high-paid assassins are hired to rub out the world's most annoying people, and one of them is assigned to travel back in time to off Hitler himself. Unfortunately, he ends up stuck in 1939, while Der Fuhrer is sent forward to terrorize the present.
Vuorensola, of course, knows a little something about Nazis making a surprise appearance in the present day.
Production on the film is due to start in 2013.
