Family Visiting Thailand Accidentally Stays at a Brothel After Stubborn Dad Refuses to Use AirBnb

Dads can be stubborn, but usually it's about little things like how you grill your burger or what temperature to keep the thermostat at and it affects the rest of the family, but not in any crazy way. TikToker @cvillainnn's stubborn dad, however, made a decision that really throw his family through a whirlwind of annoyance. 

This TikToker lives in Canada and recently shared a story of the time her family went to Thailand, where he father is from, to spend Christmas with her grandma. While they were there a typhoon hit right when they landed and her grandmother's house flooded, so they had to find somewhere else to stay. Since it was a typhoon, many hotels where already completely full, so the TikToker suggested they use AirBnb. She even found a place that seemed perfect and the host was cutting the cost in half to help people stranded due to the typhoon. 

However, her father was stubborn and did not want to use AirBnb at all. So he took them to a hotel that he used to hang out at a few decades ago when he was a kid. 

Part 1

The building was old and decrepit and clearly haunted. They had such a rough time staying there that the two daughters and mother took shifts sleeping so they could keep an eye out for each other. Instead of the dad feeling bad that he put his family through such a rough night, he was annoyed at how “spoiled” they had become. He vented his frustrations to a friend from Thailand the next day and his friend looked very confused. 

His friend asked him why in the world he would take his family to stay there since that building is a brothel. The dad thought his friend was joking, but he assured him, no—that place had been a brothel for about two decades now. 

Part 2

The father, though never admitting defeated, decided to find a new place for them to stay. Even though his daughter was ready to find a nice AirBnb for them, he wanted to do it himself since this is his homeland. He found a place based on location and price, even though the place had zero reviews. The photos were a little blurry, but other than that, it seemed alright. 

When they got to the new place, it smelled profusely of bug repellent, so much so that the TikToker and her sister started to get a headache. They went to the bed to lay down and nap off this headache, but while they were laying there both of their heads started to feel really itchy. When they looked at each other, their heads were covered in ants. They freaked out and the dad told them to take a shower and wash off the ants and he'll clean the bed. As the TikToker is naked stepping into the shower, she looks down and the drain has a pile of ants coming out of it and starting to crawl up he bare legs.  

Part 3

She freaked out and ran out of the shower, basically naked because the place didn't even provide towels, she only had two hand towels to cover up with. Eventually, she was able to clean the ants off of herself, but the trauma was done. They tried to enjoy the rest of the night there, but it was just not in their stars. 

Later, while they were trying to eat dinner at the AirBnb they heard a huge explosion and her parents freaked out since that area was notorious for terrorist attacks. They grabbed their children and yelled for them to get down and shield them, but it turned out to just be fireworks… When they went back to get the rest of their dinner, their utensils and china were already covered in ants. They tried to contact the AirBnb host, but he wasn't answering. When he finally got back to them, he said he's send someone to clean up the ants, but no one ever came.

The next day the dad finally allowed the daughter to chose the AirBnb and they were able to stay somewhere with no more problems. Even after everything that happened, however, the dad never admitted to his wrongdoing and has never talked about those two nights again.
