Jessy Kessely is too old to be TikTok famous, too young to own a house, but just the right age to have spent $.99 cents on a ringtone. She’s a writer who grew up with AOL Instant Messenger, a dying Neopet, and unsupervised internet time—and she’s got the sardonic humor to prove it. Maybe not getting murdered on Chat Roullette means that Jessy can live another day to write about stuff.

Unless you’re a bodybuilder, runner, swimmer, gymnast, or any kind of proper athlete, gyms are not always the most inviting place to spend time. There are always hoards of attractive people, sweaty people, and my favorite, insane people. Not only that, but with complicated machines and no personal trainer, it’s tough to know exactly how to figure out whatever lifting workout or stretch you’re trying to do. I suppose that’s what YouTube tutorials are for more recent generations. That is always the first step to achieving something new that you’ve never done before. We all have certainly watched our fair share of cooking videos, DIY videos, and painting techniques, but anyone going to the gym who doesn’t know what to do, should consider always taking that extra step towards proper workout etiquette, especially something as intimidating as the gym. But for this TikToker, it looks like he skipped that first, critical step.

TikToker @younique82 shares prank videos making a fool out of himself in front of all the strongest looking muscle-builders, at the gym. The silence is deafening when he flops and flips as the expert trainers clearly offer no assistance and look on in shock.

Chest Day

Even those who are new to the gym and aren’t gymrats know something is seriously off here. Perhaps it’s gym-code not to approach a stranger who looks deranged, but that seems to be a safety issue. The bench press bar certainly is not supposed to bend like that and a person’s body should stay firmly planted on the bench. Maybe people are thinking he intends to launch out of the bench because he’s possessed. Or maybe some can tell it’s all just a prank.

Gym Fail

Either way, the best way to get energized for any type of physical exertion, especially of the exorcism variety, is to start with pre-workout. With effects similar to a child’s sugar rush or a late lunch on Wall Street, creatine is the main ingredient that gets an athlete’s body ready for physical exertion. For Younique, he uses it to prank the gymrats harder than their washboard abs.
