Funny & Confused Tweets About the Way Movies Portray Americans
Stereotypes exist everywhere, but American movies and television seem to leave Twitter users with the most questions. Do Americans really drink milk straight from the carton in the morning? Do they all have 1,000 pillows on their bed? The answers to most of these questions are both yes and no. I, personally, have a modest five pillows on my bed, and I don't drink milk at all. That said, I've stayed in plenty of hotels and homes that feel the need to keep 12 pillows on the bed despite the fact that they could not possibly serve any purpose. They always end up on the ground. These tweets question other depictions of Americans and are actually pretty freaking funny from where we're sitting in the lovely U S of A.
