Hollywood "it-couple" Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas announced the birth of their daughter, Willa, yesterday, and the internet has been pretty emotional about the joyous occasion. Both Turner and Jonas are big stars - Joe rose to fame as one of the Jonas Brothers, while Sophie became a household name after playing Sansa Stark on HBO's adaptation of Game of Thrones. She's also portrayed Jean Grey in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and X-Men Apocalypse. It's obvious that she has made a name for herself, but according to this congratulatory tweet, E! News doesn't care to acknowledge that.
He turned her into a Jonas, she turned him into a father. ❤️ Congratulations to these two on their new bundle of joy, Willa. https://t.co/TBozAn2eRv pic.twitter.com/VYtiF6GSSD

The tweet, which only references Joe by name, is being criticized for being both absolutely corny and kind of sexist. And Twitter users have not been mincing their words on the subject. The responses range from absurdist jokes to disgust and anger. We've put the best (and angriest) responses right here for your convenience. Let's hope E! hires better social media editors in the future.
