Reddit user u/publicdefacation asked women to share the cringiest text someone has ever sent them. It's really annoying how we have to deal with this kind of stuff. sometimes people think its okay for them to get angry and aggressive too when you don't answer, as if you owe them something. As if!

Font - winencorgis 5 months ago An ex (who I had broken up with because of his drinking problem) 5 years after the breakup, with no contact in at least 4 of those years. Sent me a picture of an engagement ring and a caption that said"this could have been for you" a week before he proposed to his now wife. 10 Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Isn't it nice to have someone check in with you? I feel especially fortunate when it's a toxic ex from five years prior. Even better if he sends you a message that implies he wants to marry you but instead he proposes to someone else. This is wrong for all kinds of reasons.

Font - TaciturnVixen 5 months ago I don't ever get sent texts so I'll just go with Reddit messages. I had someone send to me, completely out of the blue: "do you like to be raped, [gendered slur]?" That was a nice start to my day. Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Font - siovawn 5 months ago I was in a big group text with some classmates. This one guy got my number that way and asked me out and I politely explained that I was in a relationship. He responded with "damn I really wanted to pump you full of my children" Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Rectangle - parezcounapina 5 months ago Probably some Spanish guy who tried to tell me I'm better than other women because I don't wear makeup. I can't believe people still think putting down other women is a compliment in 2020. Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Font - yellowblanket123 5 months ago I was chatting with someone and even got to the point we were gonna meet up for a movie. He then got all creepy saying stuff like "i can't wait to hold your hand and hug you" so I canceled. He called me a bunch of names and i ignored him. A few days later he texted me again apologizing, said he TALKED TO HIS MOM AND SHE SAID HE'S WRONG,. thanks random mom but no I'm still not gonna meet him. He then suggested introducing his male friends to me. I again said n

Font - HerVoiceEchoes 5 months ago A text demanding I pay him $5 for the Starbucks drink he claimed to have bought me on a first (and last) date because I didn't want to meet up again. I'd actually paid for both of our drinks with Starbucks app on my phone on that date. 3 Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Font - eeevol- 5 months ago This person said some rude, mean things to me when all I was doing was talking to them about my doctors and then they say, "It's not that big of a deal. If your feelings got hurt then suck it up buttercup." I cringe everytime I reread it. Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Font - NotATransponster 5 months ago Ah, unfortunately in my 31 years I have had many messages from men in particular that are nothing but cringe. One of the most recent was from a colleague and he's asked me out a couple of times and will not take no for an answer. He's currently working on trying to "win me over" by showing me how funny he is. A couple of days ago he messaged me to say that he had something funny to tell me. He then went on and on about how funny it was. I finally asked what h

Font - michella_rrella 5 months ago Anytime someone asks me "are you mad at me?" I work with this guy who has feelings for me. He bought me a gift on my birthday and I hugged him because we were friends at the time and I was really grateful. He took that as an invitation to ask me out for dinner and when I said "No" he made it a point to apologize and say "I meant with all of our friends". I stopped replying to his messages after he saw one of my stories skating at a park one day and he asked if

Font - 9 so_anyways_ A 5 months ago I have a couple. The one that jumps out the most is a guy I had stopped dating sent me an unsolicited dick pic. I went out on 3 dates with a guy and realized he just wasn't my type. I let him know that I didn't think this was going to work because we didn't gel well. He seemed fine and we went our separate ways. That weekend he sent me an unsolicited dick pic. I think he was drunk because his text speech was not the way he normally spoke or texted me before. H

Font - Bell-Book-Candle 5 months ago A former male friend sent me a series of texts about how, even though I was in a relationship, I owed it to him to go out with him to give him a shot at a relationship. He based this off of how he had never been on a date with anyone and had only had sex twice, both times he paid for. He was mad I said no. 1 Reply Give Award Share Report Save
