People Disclose Things That Could Literally Kill Them But They Do Everyday Anyway

Basically anytime we leave our beds there's always the slightest possibility that things will take a very dark turn. Homes collapse, cars crash, lightning strikes, the odds are slim but never zero. It's amazing how we suddenly fear for our lives on airplanes, in the ocean, and inside cramped elevators. These places are marketed like death traps but really we're much more likely to die from extremely mundane things, like too much sun exposure, texting and driving, or even falling refrigerators. Yep, you read that last one correctly. Your kitchen is statistically more dangerous than a flying vehicle.
All of these stats are not us telling you all to avoid trying anything new or going to new places. Even though it sounds hella cheugy we do somewhat believe in the philosophy of YOLO. We encourage you to continue trying new things that bring you genuine joy, but if that thing is crossing the street without looking, maybe find a new hobby.
