OSHA-Defying Moments Of Safety Failure

They say that health is better than wealth. And judging by how much it costs to buy bionic knees, the market speaks for itself. It's simply a better idea to not risk your life so that you can paint a ceiling a little easier. It's not the Sistine chapel, man.

Of course that doesn't stop people from making poor decisions every day. Sometimes we find ourselves employed by people who have no regard for anyone's safety at all.

We've all had jobs where we've been asked to do some unsavory garbage like leaning over a roof with no safety harness or burn a bunch of tires on nesting Bald Eagle sanctuaries, but we never felt good about OSHA-unapproved moments of safety failure. Risking life and limb so your boss can save 20 minutes (and pay you less) feels kind of like a crap deal, as evidenced by these safety failures that would make OSHA weep.
