World Of Animals: Inside A Hawaiian Cat Sanctuary

The island of Lanai in Hawaii is well known as a beautiful tropical island which many have called a paradise. Cats are well known to be cute yet troublesome pets. But what do you get when you combine cats and Hawaii? Well you get the Lanai Cat Sanctuary, a kitty pur-adise dedicated to saving stray cats and also protecting the island's native bird population. Open 365 days a year, this cat sanctuary houses over 600 rescue cats and provides them with food, medical treatment, and a loving environment until they are adopted.

Truth is, since they are all sterilized, well fed, well cared for, and most importantly have the space to spread out, there is almost no fighting." What a beautiful sight to see!
