Font - Top fan Wendy Moyer My daughter's cat, who normally sits with me for 10 to 20 minutes maximum in the morning, spent over two hours today, purring on me, because I am very sick with influenza. Whenever she would stand and stretch, she'd give me this sort of considering look, then curl up, and start purring again, because I obviously needed more healing. They always know when their owners don't feel right, we're sure of it. They won't always come to you when that happens. Cats are creatures who believe in independence and self-sustainment. But, the same way that they will sometimes snuggle up to you out of nowhere, needing affection, they understand that you need affection from them too.

Rectangle - Josh Felder Cats give out what's put into them.. if you abuse a cat, it carries it for life. You treat them with kindness, and they reciprocate. That's why I don't trust people who claim all cats are evil or mean... 44 Like Reply · Hide Send Message · 5d

We agree with this 100%. Whenever we hear of someone not getting along with their cat, it's most likely the case that they're not reading their cat's behavior correctly. Sometimes, there is trauma, not every cat will get along with every human. But for the most part, it's just a matter of finding the right way to make your cat gain your trust.

Cat - Top fan Jessica Williams Cats are amazing and so much fun. One of my clients has a total love bug of a baby boy who spends my entire shift cuddling on me. My dog on the other hand only cuddles on me when he wants something. 2021/12/7 170 Like · Reply · Hide Send Message 5d

Font - Caitlin Williams I battled chronic pain for three agonizing years and no pain pill my doctors prescribed even remotely touched the pain. Oftentimes all I was able to do was lay in bed and scream. Instead of him running for the hills my Finn took it upon himself to stay at my side day and night. When the pain would get too much to handle and I started screaming my Finn would ever so gently stroke my cheek, hold my hand, or soothingly run a paw up and down my arm. He was the reason why I ke

Font - When I had surgery and had to have my bandages changed and new ones had to be put in which was incredibly painful my Finn memorized the time of day the bandages would be changed and he would fly up the stairs and leaped onto my bed beside me. When I cried out as the bandages were being changed he held my hand or stroked my cheek the whole time. Because of how devoted he is when he senses l'm not myself we lovingly have dubbed him "Nurse Finn". I am happy to say that he is still with us to

Cat - He is my very precious boy. When I met him at the shelter the day I adopted him I knew he was special. And oh, how special he is! OD 89 Like Reply Hide Send Message 5d

Font - Rick Lee It always amazes me that some people think that only humans are capable of having feelings and emotions, when I've found that many humans are practically incapable of having feelings and emotions... 20 Like · Reply · Hide Send Message - 5d

Font - Jennifer Fulk Whenever my autistic sister gets upset (sad, mad, frustrated, stressed, etc.), my cat politely insists on giving her a "kitty hug". Once allowed, she jumps into her lap, climbs up to her chest, and lies down purring, forcing her to lean back and hug her in return. This brings my sister comfort even when she doesn't want to be comforted. Also, my cat will sleep with anyone who is sick. One exception was one time my sister was vomiting all night, and well, a lot of loud vocall

Font - Michael Conger I have one that does this with drinking water. When he was a kitten, he wouldn't drink enough and got terrible UTIS from crystals. I would get him antibiotics and sub-cu hydration, but he still would have pain for a day or two and it really upset me to see him that way. When he would drink I praised him and it made me happy. Now, when I'm upset he yowls by the water dish until I come to see what's up, and he just starts drinking. 21 Like Reply · Hide Send Message - 5d

Rectangle - Denise Forsberg Our cats Emmett and Stella are always snuggled up together. Emmett has nightmares and Stella helps calm him down by holding him tighter and licking his head. 6. Like · Reply · Hide Send Message 4d

Font - Victoria Persephone When miss kitty was in her final moments many years ago, i laid down next to her and just cried. Then i felt a little paw on my hand and i opened my eyes. She was trying to comfort me, just like she always had before. She's dying, but she's trying to make me feel better. I still miss her so much. O 8 Like · Reply · Hide Send Message 5d

Comfort - Glen Muller The final moment before I guided him over the rainbow bridge. I held him in my arms for the last hour and a half of his life, and despite the pain he was in, he purred the entire time. He hadn't purred for a few days. He knew it was time, and I believe he was trying to tell me it was ok. 41 Like Reply · Hide Send Message 5d
