The OP in this story has a serious lack of empathy. He now questions if he is an a$$hole after the way he scolded his wife for doing a good deed. If you have to ask buddy, the answer is clear. The OP claims that a seven year old girl with 'heavy special needs' ran away and wound up alone in their backyard. It was pouring rain and his wife did what anyone with a heart would do, she invited her inside, dried her off and called the police in order to reunite her with her family. Her husband reacted in a shocking way. He was furious that he would let her in when they have three young children at home. Their kids were absolutely fine and the young girl was united with her family. The moral judges of Reddit have a pretty obvious ruling on this one.
