Goldendoodle Parents Confident in Their Dog Training Have the Funniest Rude Awakening After Finding Out Their Pup Sits to Any “S" Word

Dog training is a very important part of being a dog owner. It's very handy to at least teach your dogs the basics like sit, lay down, drop it, and recall. Those can be life saving at times! Plus, dogs doing tricks on command is the cutest and has been since the bond was created between wolves and humans. Duh. Dogs have been bred for centuries to do certain things to help their human companions out. Goldendoodles are a mix of a golden retriever and a poodle. They were originally bred to be guide dogs, but are often used for search and rescue. However, they are also adorable huge lumps of fluffy that love to play and cuddle. 

Charlie, a Goldendoodle on TikTok, was trained by his loving furever family. He has always been an avid listener and will sit on command. It seemed like his pawrents were very happy about that and confident in their training ability. However, recently, they found out a hilarious caveat to their training… Charlie is very good at sitting, because he will sit to any word that starts with “S," and I mean any word. The owners started documenting the different s words they test out to see if he'll sit to anything and have gone viral for it.

If this doesn't prove that dogs just want to satisfy their hoomans, then I don't know what will! He just wants his pawrents to be happy. Sure, he might not be paying the close attention his hoomans wish he were, but he's doing the best he can. At least he sits! He wants to listen and behave for his parents, but he just gets a little overly excited to make them happy, and thus sits a little preemptively. It's still adorable and still works! His parents don't even need to say the full “s” word to get him to sit. They can just slither like a little snake saying “ssss” and he'll sit like the proper boy he is.
