Brother and His Wife Get Called Out By Dad For Scamming Gift Exchange With Trashy Pregnancy Announcement
This brother and his wife thought that they were being clever when they found a way to "game" their family gift exchange. The plan was simple; Don't spend any money on the gift and then say that the money has been donated to "the baby" (aka you) on their behalf.
What a clever move, I'm sure nobody has ever thought of that before. It's right up there with speeding up the right-hand lane to dodge traffic. Even though you know it's merging half a mile up and everyone else is merging early to avoid causing further queues where the lanes merge. We all thought of it. You're not smarter than the rest of us because you chose to do this. The rest of us just chose not to do it because we're not farking a-holes like you are.
This brother and sister-in-law are just "that sort of people" and it's awesome that the dad stood his ground and called his adult son out on this nonsense.
Put them in the trash with this daughter-in-law who refused to spend Christmas with her husband's foster siblings.
