Guy Messes Up Chances For a Date When He Texts Like A Bot As a Joke, Gets Unmatched

This lad, u/Froyed, thought that he was hitting it off with a match on Bumble. They shared the same type of humor and common interests. When it came time to ask for her number our hero decided to be a bit silly and type like a bot asking for her "mother's maiden name, pet's name, and the last 4 digits of [her] debit card number." Unfortunately, the joke went over her head and he got unmatched by a girl who was afraid that she must have fallen for a scam!

u/Froyed has posted on r/TIFU hoping that she will see the post since he knows she browses that subreddit. We will update you if these two star-crossed lovers ever get reconnected!
