The Funniest Ways In Which Pets Show Affection To Their Humans

Every pet owner out there know that animals have some funny habits. They will sit in weird places, they will randomly stare at things for long periods of time, they will try to eat things that are inedible every once in a while. Living with a pet is a whole adventure. It's fun. It's forever entertaining. That's why we think that everyone should consider adopting a pet. Well, that along with the fact that when you adopt, you have someone in your home who will lov you every day absolutely unconditionally. 

Our pets love us. Even the ones that seem a little it aloof at times (looking at you cats), still love us. It's just that we have to know how to read their affection, where to look for it. Because sometimes, pets show their human affection in funny ways that you would never expect. Sitting on your face in the middle of the night to try to wake you up is indeed a way of expressing love.

    No, but the image of her sitting no your bed and screaming next to the things she brought is actually hilarious. And, as people who own cats, we know that face that you're talking about when you say that she was 'proud of herself'. Cats are so ridiculous. They are everything to us.

    This, of course, as we already know, is not only a sign of affection. It is also a sign of how stupid our cats think we are. Can't hunt for our own food, how ridiculous. They have to do it for us, or we'll perish. It is affection too though, don't be mistaken. This is love in the form of a dead mole, and you have to know how to appreciate it.

    Font - James Robinson And my long departed but still beloved cat Thor used to hump my sweaters while staring at me. He did this up through his final days, at age 23. He also would meow at me in a certain tone if he didn't feel well instead of hiding like most cats do. I could tell his "I'm sick" meow from his usual chatting with me.     Font - Richard Shapiro Ok, this will take a bit of detail, but.. I would sit on one end of our couch, as it had a recliner built in. Our 901b lab used to hop up into the middle, turn her back, crouch down, then launch herself backwards to land upside-down in my lap. This would result in her claws waving in my face and, inevitably a few seconds later as her drool and mucus would run back down inside her upside-down head, a titanic sneeze - also in my face.

    Dog - So, I tried to catch her and push her away ... and I COULDN'T. It took me months to realize that as she was falling backwards, she was reaching out with one paw and pushing off a SECOND time from the gap between the back-cushions at the edge of the recliner. I was not just fighting a 90 pound flying upside down dog, but also all the strength of her left front leg! So, I gave in and let her do it. She's long gone now - my god do I miss that dog.     Cat - Kit Lykos This is Kara, when I got her she was a tiny ball of hate. A feral foster she took forever to tame and so she just never left. It is winter and I have very finicky skin so showers go from daily to every other or every third (depending on what I'm doing) so my skin doesn't crack and peel off. So he's started cleaning me when I skip that day. I guess I should be grateful he wants me pretty. But I'm working from home currently.so my two cats are all that see me.     Tableware - Jessica Seamons Sometime after I first got Charlie, he would start yelling (it really sounded like yelling) at me wheneverI got out of the shower.
