Immature Boyfriend Drunkenly Tosses GF's Sentimental Ship Around With His Friends Until It Breaks

Hearing this title alone makes our skin burn with fury. How can a 37 year old man act so childish? The OP sadly lost her father. Before he passed away, he left her one of his last and favorite model ships. She kept it proudly displayed in her living room. Until one fateful day... her boyfriend of all people, destroyed it! OP was gracious enough to host her boyfriend and his friends at her place to celebrate his birthday. They got drunk and started throwing the sofa cushions and pillows at each other. I'm sorry, we need to read that back - they did what now? This sounds like a middle school sleepover party. These guys are in their mid-thirties. Who has pillow fights in their mid-thirties, especially at a house that doesn't belong to them? The audacity is palpable. What happens next is painful to hear. OP's boyfriend grabbed the model ship and started using it to play monkey in the middle with his pals. When OP saw this monstrosity, she tried to end it immediately. But her boyfriend continued to make it into a game. He even said, "if you want it back you have to kiss me." Naturally, OP was enraged. She yelled at him to stop, but he made the wise choice of tossing it to a friend instead. The friend dropped it, shattering her precious gift. OP is pissed and wants her boyfriend to pay $3,500 to fix it. He think she's lost her mind and refuses. What do you and the moral Judges of Reddit have to say?
