Women Reminisce About Toxic Diet Trends They Participated In As Kids Because Their Moms Were Doing It

Diets are always in style, which isn't exactly a good thing. When we hear how crazy diet trends were in the past, we can't believe there were many women out there that religiously adhered to them. Then again, they probably believed that there was nothing harmful about these diet plans. After all, if they're supposed to help you lose weight, then they should be healthy, right? Apparently, that wasn't always the case, and still isn't the case. We get wanting to look perky and fit, but not if it comes at the expense of your own health. Twitter user @ambernoelle started a discussion on Twitter about how a bunch of young girls in the eighties and nineties were eating diet food  because their moms were following the latest dieting trends. Obviously, kids should never be following random diet trends that their moms are following, and it's crazy to think that their moms approved of them participating.
