Woman on a Casual Stroll Stumbles Upon Her Family Cat Who Has Been Missing for Six Weeks

Being a pet owner always comes with the dread of what if your pet gets lost one day. What are your plans to try and find them? This can be very common when rescuing a cat from the streets. TikToker “MNandme" rescue cats often and help them find furever homes, as well as having a few cats of their own. The recently found a sweet little siamese cat that they had taken in after she showed up on their doorstep and were helping acclimate to indoor cat life. However, after only about six months of having her and naming her Velvet, she disappeared one day. 

The family was devastated and did everything they could to find her to no avail. Until the daughter went for a short little walk and noticed a cat that looked very much like Velvet… 

When the daughter starts to believe that she found velvet she starts recording and makes cat noises to see if it will attract her over. The second she did, the cat must have recognized the sounds and immediately started strutting over to her. The daughter was freaking out, completely elated to finding her lost cat! She was in disbelief and relief all at once. When Velvet came to her and allowed her to pick her up, that was the icing on the cake that made her sure it was the Velvet. 

However, they made sure to ask around the neighborhood if this was actually somebody's cat, and nobody seemed to be familiar with her. So now, after six weeks of the kitty missing, they have her back. A happy ending for this kitty and her family!
