Organism - Isabelle Doiron In January I nearly died. I had to have a blood transfusion and medication adjustments. I was bedridden for nearly 3 weeks. My mom and her husband came to take care of me. Loki never left my side.. He's never really been an affectionate cat in his nearly 14 years, but since January he's the neediest, cuddliest boy... He will catterwall for hours wanting me to go to bed for sleepy cuddles.. D0 48 Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d

This one is to remind everyone that cats are perfectly aware of your emotions. It's true that some of them are not the most outwardly affectionate, but when you need them, they will know it, and they will do what they can. Maybe what they can is cuddling you or maybe it's sitting on a separate couch in the same room with you. Cats show affection a bit differently sometimes.

Glasses - Top fan Chauntel Troyer I was in the middle of a pretty awful anxiety attack. I sat with my back against the wall crying, trying to calm myself down and my lovely little lady came up and kept pushing her snoot between my knees and snorting. It was so unexpected and so adorable. It helped snap me out of it and she still helps me when my anxiety gets bad by being a goofball and making me laugh. She's amazing! And dogs… well, dogs are angels, that is known. With dogs, for the most part, the affection and concern that they feel for you is pretty heckin' obvious. We need to remember that too- to not take it for granted. Their love is special and beautiful, and we should remember to be thankful.

Cat - Kris Olsen This pretty lady, Miss Velvet, kept me company in the bathroom last week during a bout of norovirus. She stayed with me rubbing her head on my foot and leg as I puked. 14 Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d

Cat - Jessica Avila-Goodman Here's a pic of my cat comforting my dog when we had to put her down. She was a Great Dane so we had the vet come to the house. Kitkat sat with her during the whole procedure. It was heartbreaking. He even put his paw on her chest to feel her last breaths. Now he cuddles up to our new puppy and it's the sweetest thing. Product - Brian Hakala I had surgery a few months ago and Milo, who's never been one to snuggle, planted himself next to me when I was stuck on the couch recovering. 34 Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d

Jaw - Karen Kettells Fiorini The night my hedgehog died I sat up through the night holding him and the cat we had only recently adopted stood vigil at our sides and didn't sleep. No photo of that night but that wonderful cat now bosses me around and screams for food all hours of the day, and I love every minute of time with him. 2 Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d

Font - Beverly McPherson When I was 15 my father died. My cat, who I had since I was six, was not the warm and fuzzy type. But that was the one time he stayed and let me hug him as long as I wanted to. More recently my BFF died. My dog prefers to sleep at the end of the bed, but that night he curled up and slept with his head on my shoulder all night." Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d

Facial expression - Amy Kilpatrick Not mine but regularly pet sit this little lady (shitzu/Pomeranian). My son was having a very rough night and she was whimpering and pawing at him, then leapt into his arms O Lo NAR Like Reply Hide Send Message 2d Edited 4
